Hessonite Garnets

Hessonite Garnets, From the Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada.

Gorgeous miniature featuring deeply colored and very gemmy Hessonite Garnets!

The Garnets are so glassy and perfectly formed that they look faceted! The color is also very deep and much stronger than what I normally see from the Jeffrey Mine. The smaller Garnets scattered about the dark matrix add an additional flash and sparkle to what is already an incredible specimen!
